Itinerary for 3 Nights Backwater Package
Pick up from Cochin and transfer to hotel in the Backwaters of Alleppey. Check in to Emerald Isle -150 year old heritage villa in the backwaters of Alleppey. After lunch day at leisure. Evening guided tour to backyard farm to explore plantations and you can relax in the hammocks or doing fishing in backyard fish firm. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, visit to garden to see the toddy tapping (toddy is a local alcohol which is collecting from the coconut tree) or take a walk through the village to experience the lifestyle of local people and to visit 500 years old temple. Come back and enjoy the Kerala traditional meal which is waiting for you on the banana leaf. You can also have the rejuvenating Ayurvedic body massage during the day. Evening enjoy the Country Boat cruise -will take you through small canals to explore the life of local people. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, proceed sightseeing and by noon board to the houseboat, enjoy cruising through backwaters of Alleppey, flora, fauna and village life, visiting 1400 years old church & world famous “Snake Boat”. Overnight stay in houseboat.
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin Railway Station/Airport.
